Terms and cancellation policy

This is a convenience translation. Only the German version is legally binding.

1. Scope

These terms apply to the use of cveasy.ai, a service of TLBM UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Marienhöhe 157, 25451 Quickborn, Germany ("we"). The language of the contract is German.

2. Services

cveasy.ai is an online editor for creating CVs and cover letters with optional AI support and PDF export.

The AI generates suggestions. You are responsible for checking the content before you use it, in particular that all information about you is accurate. We guarantee neither the success of an application nor that applicant tracking systems will evaluate a document in a particular way.

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Please download important documents as PDFs.

3. Conclusion of contract, prices, term

You select a pass in the editor and click "Buy now". On the payment page of our payment service provider Stripe, you make a binding offer by completing the payment; the contract is concluded when the pass is activated. All prices are final prices including VAT.

The pass is a one-time payment without automatic renewal. It ends on its own 30 or 90 days after purchase. If you buy another pass while one is still running, the new one starts at the current expiry date.

4. Use

You may only use cveasy.ai for your own application documents or those of people who have asked you to do so. Automated mass requests and attempts to circumvent the limits of the service are not permitted.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body and health. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Liability under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz) remains unaffected.

6. Cancellation policy

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (TLBM UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Marienhöhe 157, 25451 Quickborn, Germany, e-mail: info@tlbm.de, phone: +49 4106 1282398) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notice of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this refund.

If you requested that the service begin during the withdrawal period, you must pay us a reasonable amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time you inform us that you are exercising your right of withdrawal, compared with the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Early expiry

For a contract for the provision of services or the supply of digital content, the right of withdrawal expires when we have begun performance after you have expressly agreed that we may begin before the end of the withdrawal period and you have confirmed that you are aware that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (§ 356(4) and (5) of the German Civil Code, BGB). You give this consent before purchase by ticking a checkbox.
